Take the wheel of five very different off-road activities, with a little help from your personal instructor. Driving experience is definitely not essential, so adults - get ready to be upstaged by the youngsters. After a safety briefing you'll all have a go at driving the 'dizzymobile'. This crazy vehicle has two independently-steered axles and two steering wheels (think tapping your head and rubbing your tummy and you'll be half way there). Good teamwork between the two drivers is the only way you'll make it through a tight, twisty coned course. Then (depending on your age) either ride or drive a Daihatsu on the 4x4 jungle run. Next comes the blindfold driving in the Korean Kia jeep, where you'll all take turns at driving and navigating, followed by the quad course. Finally everybody takes part in time trials in rally karts. Will experience or adaptability be the key? Find out as a family and have a lot of laughs along the way.

Horse riding is a perfect way to spend some quality time together as a family - it's relaxing, exciting, refreshingly outdoorsy and a brilliant way to introduce the kids to a new hobby. Parents can even get involved. Novices and experienced riders alike will love this riding day. After being introduced to their ponies the instructor will teach the youngsters how to tack up before heading out for a half hour lesson within the grounds and an assessment of their abilities in order to best plan a follow up activity. Then the adults get their chance by leading their children on a hack (including walk and trot) in countryside or woodland (cantering is not permitted outside the arenas during initial visits). The children have an hour and a half riding time, followed by soup and sandwiches for all of you - riding can be pretty physical and there's nothing like fresh air to make people hungry! At the end everyone has the opportunity to groom a horse and maybe give it a treat to say thank you!
