Capable of 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 183 mph, this car is all about pace, handling and refinement. The Lamborghini Gallardo is a totally different drive - brutal and uncompromising, with 500bhp and a top speed of nearly 200 mph. You'll start with a briefing and some demonstration laps from a qualified instructor, who'll talk you through the racing lines, driving techniques and how to best handle the car out on the track. Then you'll take the driving seat of the Ferrari. Once you've got your breath back, you'll climb into the Lamborghini for more laps. You get to drive six miles in each car, finishing with a question and answer session and certificate presentation.

You'll kick off with a briefing and then your instructor will drive you on some training laps in a hot hatch to learn the racing lines and see circuit driving techniques in action. What you do next depends on the venue: Donington Park or Three Sisters Circuit drive seven miles in a Ferrari 360 followed by eight miles in a hot hatch and finish with eight miles in a single-seater racing car (23 miles). At Prestwold Hall drive four laps each in a Ferrari 550 and F360 Spider (16.2 miles). At Thruxton or Croft drive three laps in a Porsche Cayman, four laps in a Ferrari 355 plus five laps in a single-seater (28.8 miles). At Rockingham drive an F360 for six miles on track and a single-seater for another 25 miles. Finish with a high-speed passenger ride at some venues.

What happens next depends on which venue you choose: at Prestwold Hall or MIRA circuit, you'll tear around four laps in a Ferrari 360 or 575. At Three Sisters, Rockingham or Donington Park you'll drive the 360 for six miles around the circuit.
