Join the Stars Driving Club. If you're tall enough to reach the pedals of a Mercedes-Benz A-Class or smart fortwo car, then you are old enough to drive at Mercedes-Benz World. Team up with one of the professional driving instructors and start learning skills from scratch. Very quickly you'll find your confidence grows so why wait until you're 17 to get behind the wheel? On this introductory session you will be taught the basics of driving in a safe environment next to the venue. If you decide to return to Mercedes Benz World for additional lessons then you can move onto the main circuits to be taught extra advanced skills such as skid management and dynamic handling. At this rate you might even want to prepare for your driving test - and yes, they can even do that for you. To call this site out of this world does it no justice, Mercedes-Benz World is one of just five brand centres in the world. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and attractions of this venue which must be seen to be believed!

Participant Guidelines: There are no age restrictions. However, any participant must be over 1.5 metres tall (4' 11''). The Mercedes will be an automatic and has dual controls for the instructor to use if necessary.
Weather: Driving would only be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice or heavy rain, when conditions become dangerous.
Duration: The driving experience will last for approximately half an hour, approximately 20 minutes of which will be actual driving (depending on the capabilities of the participant) and the remainder will be learning.
Numbers On Day: All in-car driving is on a one-to-one basis with your professional driver.
Spectators: Feel free to bring as many friends or family as you like, to share the excitement (no dogs or rollershoes please). Simulators, classic exhibits, a large showcase of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, cafe, restaurant and a museum help make this a great day out.
Dress Code: Wear practical clothing for the day, with comfortable shoes in which you can walk round and not too chunky (so that you can feel the pedals).
Availability: The experience operates Saturdays, Sundays and most school and bank holidays. Please allow at least six weeks booking notice, especially if you want to come during a bank holiday or a key school holiday time.
