These magnificent and luxurious vessels, J R Tolkien (two-mast topsail schooner), Loth Lorien (three-mast schooner) and Artemis (three-mast barque), have masts over 30 metres high and are perfect for a day of traditional sailing. You'll begin with refreshments and a safety briefing from your experienced crew, before sailing out onto the Solent area. If you want to enjoy some hands-on activity, then there's always a job to do on board, from raising the sails to helming the ship, and the friendly crew will show you how it's done. If you'd rather, you can relax on deck and chat to the crew about the sailing life. A buffet lunch and afternoon tea will be served on board during the day.
