Explore the exquisite beauty of the Arctic on a three day adventure trip, 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle. You'll start by meeting your guide for a welcome drink, before heading to Musher's lodge. There you'll be kitted out in Arctic clothes and meet your team of dogs, before a short tour of the area and dinner under the Northern Lights. Then snuggle down for the night, because in the morning you'll be dogsledding across the frozen wilderness, stopping off for lunch at a lodge next to a frozen lake. Your destination is the astonishing Ice Hotel: a chic hotel built from the ice each year, which melts away every spring. Relax in the Ice Bar, go for a sauna and then curl up in your thermal sleeping bags for a night in a bedroom made completely of ice. The experience also includes a fabulous snowmobile tour - part of everyday life up here in the Arctic but fantastic fun nonetheless! Accommodation, equipment and some meals are included. Flights to and from Kiruna are not included.

Participant Guidelines: Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult who holds a provisional or full drivers licence. You must be reasonably physically fit. An experience suitable for children can be purchased separately, please call Red Letter Days.
Weather: It's very cold! Conditions just north of the Arctic Circle in March and April are generally stable, however extreme conditions may force certain parts of the experience to be substituted.
Duration: Your trip is for three days and two nights. Please make sure that you can book flights for the dates you have chosen.
Numbers On Day: The experience is based on two people sharing. Group sizes may vary, with a maximum of eight for the sledding.
Dress Code: Winter clothing, including a snowsuit, fur hats, gloves and boots, will be provided. A full list of what to bring (including thermals, thin gloves for under your mitts and thick socks) will be sent to you in advance of departure.
Availability: Trips generally run between late February and March each winter.
Other Info: Facilities at Musher's lodge are comfortable but basic, to reduce their environmental impact (e.g. no baths or showers, and compost toilets). You'll need appropriate travel insurance. Minimum booking and cancellation period is 90 days.
