For a truly stunning day at sea you can do no better than a day's sailing on board a beautiful tall ship. These magnificent and luxurious vessels, J R Tolkien (two-mast topsail schooner), Loth Lorien (three-mast schooner) and Artemis (three-mast barque), have masts over 30 metres high and are perfect for a day of traditional sailing. You'll begin with refreshments and a safety briefing from your experienced crew, before sailing out onto the Solent area. If you want to enjoy some hands-on activity, then there's always a job to do on board, from raising the sails to helming the ship, and the friendly crew will show you how it's done. Camel riding has come to England - it's fun, relaxing, and you get a cracking view from up there. You'll start off with some refreshments and a welcome brief before you go and meet the camels. After saying hello and having a chance to get used to them, you'll be shown how to put a bridle and a saddle on your camel. Then you and your trusty steed will head out on a peaceful ride through lovely countryside, accompanied by instructors. Camels are friendly and inquisitive, and each has its own quirky personality, so we're sure that you'll make new pals. Your camel will be led at all times by an instructor and you'll also learn a bit about their history and habits (the camels' that is, not your instructor's).
