Rediscover your sense of adventure - and what it's like to be soaked to the skin! Canyoning is a truly all-round adventure experience, following a natural water course through a precipitous canyon. To start off with you'll have a safety briefing with your instructor and get kitted out with the right equipment. Then after a short walk to the top of the beautiful Allt' a Bhealaich Gorge, you'll follow the natural water course down through the gorge, descending waterfalls, sliding down natural water flumes, scrambling down gorges and jumping into deep, clear rock pools. In some sections you'll use harnesses and ropes to get down, all safely controlled by your instructor. This is a challenging, exciting and very physical experience and you might get a few bumps along the way, but there's a path running along the length of the canyon, so no part of the descent is compulsory - you can always take the path instead.

Whoever said you had to have snow to ride behind a team of husky dogs? You don't need to take your child to the white Arctic wilderness. Huskies just love to run, so if the sled is on wheels then any terrain works. All you need to think about is holding on tight, these dogs don't hang around for slow boarders! Don't worry though, we're not just going to throw you to the dogs (they're quite happy with their diet of meat and fish!), you'll get a chance to meet a real husky handler who can explain what the dogs do, why and give some history where they come from. You can pet the animals and help put on their harnesses before jumping on and enjoying a stunning trip through the Darent Valley behind a team of at least eight huskies. And the best bit is that you can sit back and relax while your handler does all the hard work of mushing or hiking (terms used to run the sled) and controlling the animals. Back at the centre you can warm up with a hot drink and a piece of cake.

So you've always fancied bungee jumping, but you're both too chicken to do it alone? Or maybe you thought a tandem bungee would be a great idea for a date? Either way, this is an experience guaranteed to bring you closer together. You'll start off being helped into your bungee harnesses and strapped tightly together face to face (with thorough safety checks), before hopping in the crane lift and going up about 160 feet. Then after a few words of encouragement, and a few very deep breaths, it's 1... 2... 3... bungee! You'll plummet towards the ground (try to keep your eyes open!) before the bungee rope reaches its return point and you ping back skywards. After a few more bounces, you'll be lowered gently back to terra firma. All equipment and club membership are included, and if you want a video of yourselves dangling upside down you can buy one for around £13.
