You don't have to go all the way to South America to get up close and personal with primates. Coming to some treetops near you (well, in Cornwall anyway) are some endangered woolly and capuchin monkeys. This trip to a sanctuary dedicated to their welfare and conservation is a must for any fans of these clever, funny and beautiful creatures. After meeting the primate keepers and receiving a health and safety briefing, you'll help the team to clean out the woolly monkeys, meet the capuchins and hear about their backgrounds. Take a well deserved lunch break at Tree Top Cafe, after which you will help prepare the woolly monkeys' lunchtime fruit bowls, pick wild leaves from the Victorian gardens and get involved in monkey enrichment (making sure the monkeys don't get bored!). After a quick coffee break, you'll learn how to make a capuchin fruit bowl. Each of you will take home a t-shirt and certificate, photos of the monkeys you have met and one year's free membership of the sanctuary.

Who says you have to go to South America to see monkeys? Adopt a beautiful woolly or capuchin monkey for a year and you can visit it in the vast wilderness and tropical climate also known as Cornwall (ok it isn't South America, but it's nearer and cheaper to get to!). Your adoption pack contains an adoption certificate, a photo of your monkey along with its story, a one year free membership to the sanctuary, a fact sheet, a sticker, quarterly newsletter and a cuddly toy. In addition, you'll also receive a free pass for three people to visit the sanctuary.
