Try out acting and learn about the theatre at one of the most successful shows in the world. In advance you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellen) so that you can become familiar with the story. The big day starts with a fantastic kids' workshop including a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games to bring out your inner star. The workshop ends with a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast and you'll receive a certificate. The building has to be emptied in preparation for the matinee, so why not go out to lunch and return in the afternoon to watch a performance of the hit musical.

Availability: Saturday matinees around once a month throughout the year.Weather: Duration: Please drop your child off in the foyer at 10.30am for their workshop which lasts up until around 1.30pm. The building must be emptied from this time while the show is being prepared and you can both return from 1.45pm in time for the show at 2.30pmNumbers On Day: A maximum of 30 children take part in the workshop. Please be aware there is no adult supervision following the workshop when the building must be emptied, nor for the subsequent show (the two of you will sit together but the group are not seated as one)Spectators: The workshop is for kids only - no spectating adults are allowed!Dress Code: Children: dress how you like.
