In advance you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellen) so that you can become familiar with the story. The big day starts with a fantastic kids' workshop including a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games to bring out your inner star. The workshop ends with a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast. Also receive a certificate to take home. A packed lunch with a sandwich, crisps, apple and juice is included (sorry but special dietary needs can't be catered for, so bring your own lunch if you prefer) for you to consume off site (as the building has to be emptied in preparation for the matinee performance). Mum or dad can enjoy some free time in London during your workshop and you can both return to the theatre in time to watch the matinee.
