Porcelana, 70% cocoa, single variety neapolitans
The prized Porcelana cocoa bean, used exclusively by Amedei to create this single variety chocolate, provides a refined, non-acidic and nutty flavour with notes of caramel. The Porcelana cocoa bean is extremely rare and therefore Amedei only produce a limited amount of Porcelana chocolate from it each year. The Porcelana chocolate is so special that each of the boxes is individually numbered. The Amedei Porcelana chocolate is classed as Single origin and Single Variety. Amedei were one of the first to use the Porcelana cocoa bean to create this outstanding chocolate. Porcelana chocolate is often descibed as the Champagne of chocolate.
The Amedei Porcelana chocolate was winner of the "Best chocolate 2004" award.
