Abigail Petit co-founder of Gossypium shares her experiences learning about the way that clothes are made through her meetings with growers weavers embroiderers dyers sewers and printers.Her messages are graphic personable and imaginative.The Eye of the Needle explains the role of ethically produced and traded cotton as solutions to many problems with future clothing production. The story serves to disguise what is an informed and complete expose of how far from sustainable our global clothing production and consumption is today - and the fact that it is rapidly getting worse.
