Made from fine flavour Trinitario cocoa beans, a single years harvest at the San Juan Estate (Gran Couva plantation), on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. The Valrhona Gran Couva 2007 vintage provides predominant flavours of roasted almonds, hazelnuts & notes of spice. Not as tart as the Ampamakia vintage, and less sweet than the Palmira vintage bar. Best before 31st Dec 2008. Was £3.55! (New 2008 vintage now available also)
