Sherbet Fountains - An absolute classic, and one of our all-time favourites... for those of you who need their memories jogging a little, they're made by Trebor and they consist of a yellow tube filled with white zingy sherbet and a liquorice stick poking out of the end (the best bit).In my time you were supposed to be able to suck the sherbet through the liquorice stick/straw, but I never managed this as it got all soggy and gooey. I would knock most of the sherbet back neat, and then finish the liquorice off by dipping in the remaining sherbet. It was totally ace!

Pear Drops - Who would have thought that of all the fruit you can get, the flavour of the humble pear would become such a classic, iconic sweet!Pear Drops are totally ace, and the wonderful pear scent takes me right back to my daily bounce on my trusty (and slightly faded) Space Hoppa... aah, those were the days!For those of you who've never tasted a Pear Drop, they're orangey pink and yellow boiled sweets with a wonderful flavour of pears. Milk Sticks - There's something really comforting about milk-flavoured sweets... these chewy sticks are ace - lovely and creamy, uncomplicated and totally delicious. Strawberry Whips - Delicious, juicy, 3-feet-long thick strawberry whips - or should that be 90cm approx these days?These lovely whips have been around for ages - I loved the way they seemed to go on forever and you could make them last for ages and ages. It was also lovely when you wound them up and it filled the entire little white paper bag - ace!
